this is pretty interesting considering that JR is about to wrap up our “State of the Union” series this coming Sunday at Freedom.
i had heard about this movie from a friend but had not remembered about it until very recently - like today recently. the movie is called “Fireproof“. what’s cool about this movie is, this movie is made by the same guys that did everything for “FlyWheel” and “FACING THE GIANTS“. this movie is going to be very good. i’m not lying. Kirk Cameron plays the lead role of Captain Caleb Holt, a firefighter with a struggling marriage. yeah, Mike Seaver has become a firefighter.
what makes this movie special for me is that i personally know 2 of the main actors in this movie. one of the actors played Brock Kelly in FACING THE GIANTS. if you remember the “death crawl” scene, Jason was the guy doing the death crawl. i met Jason in New Orleans when he was speaking at a d.now that i was helping with. the other guy is one of my real good buddies from IMPACT. Stephen is a student pastor and plays the role of Wayne Floyd, the driver for the fire department. what’s interesting is that Stephen’s dad was the driver for the fire department where all the shooting took place in Albany, GA.
it’s very cool to see the things that God is doing through this movie. i really can’t wait to see this movie. i think it will be another good one from the Kendrick boys.
